Greetings fellow DES 505 classmates!


I wanted to come on here and share my 3 project proposals that I have chosen for this class:

1) Climate Creative, Logan Evasco (Community/Environment)


Problem: There is a lack of environmental education exposure to our communities that provides information about our climate in an attainable way, and through creative curiosity.


Purpose: To inform communities and work together to build climate awareness through social and creative events that highlight our planets beauty and raise money for our planet’s 

protection.


2) 100k Trees for Humanity, Amos White (Community/Environmental)


Problem: There is a need for a compelling and informational logo that illustrates 100k Trees purpose and mission.


Purpose: To create a unique, hand drawn logo that fits 100k Trees for Humanity’s brand and purpose, while engaging and informing the user. This logo will be meant for website and branding purposes, as well as apparel application.


3) Sun Basket (Health/Environment)


Problem: There is an extreme amount of waste associated with the packaging that is required for pre-prepared meals to cook.


Purpose: To develop product and branding that is biodegradable and informs customers about the impact that plastic has on our environment. 


4) Maker’s Space (Community/Creative Resources)


Problem: There is a lack of space and equipment for maker’s to pursue their passions and grow their businesses.


Purpose: To create an innovative and engaging space for maker’s to connect and create to their full potential, including areas for work, as well as product photography to help grow their online presence.


While I am excited about all of them, the one I have chosen to use for the exercises throughout this class is with Climate Creative.
